Fun Week-end!

Good Monday morning to all! Hope everyone had a great week-end, we did. Travis returned from Upward National Convention on Saturday night. He had a good, but busy time. He had a great conversation with Russ Lee, that he will post later in the week.

The kids and I survived the FOUR long days with "picnics" in the living room, fun times with family, and a trip to Sonic for Samuel's school night. On Friday night, I was able to attend a "Ladies Night Out" at Cudd Memorial with the ladies of the family, where we heard Dawn Jordan Smith speak on forgiveness and mercy. It was so great to be out without the kids and be with friends and family. Uncle Dick was so wonderful to tackle the job of watching the Keeling and Sparks kids, that would be a total of SEVEN kids. Thanks Uncle Dick, we love you!

On Saturday, the kids and I had a lazy day and then the kids went to play at Aunt Cindy's for an hour or so, while I ran to the store. They had fun playing with the dogs and digging (with spoons!)

On Sunday, Uncle Rick invited us all to Family Day for the Railroad at Cleveland Park. We had so much fun! Lunch was provided by Sticky Fingers (they have great ribs) If you know me - I LOVE RIBS! We found out yesterday that Faith loves ribs too.

Hannah Grace had fun dancing and playing with Ashley and was hopeful to win a door prize!

Samuel didn't feel the best, he has a cold and the medicine I had given him had made him sleepy, but he was proud to wear his new hat.

After lunch we were treated to ride on the train. It was so much fun. Everyone got in on the fun. Thanks, Uncle Rick for inviting us!

I want to Thank each of you for your prayers for Travis, the kids and I over the week-end. It is because of your prayers that the Lord allowed us to have such a wonderful week-end. Thank you!
