Friday Family Funnies - I'm not a Baptist

I haven't done a Friday Family Funny in a while, but that doesn't mean that my three kids have not been doing and saying funny things - it just means they have been doing so many funny things, I haven't had time to stop laughing to write them down!!!

A couple of Friday nights ago we were at a Woodruff football game and Grammy and Big Daddy had gone with us. Woodruff had just scored a touchdown and they were playing music over the loud speaker. Faith was jumping and dancing around in excitement and Grammy asked her, "Faith, I thought you were a Baptist, you're not suppose to be dancing." Faith reply was: "I'm not a Baptist, I'm a Ballerina!!!"

That same night, Faith also said she was going to call President Barack Obama and tell him to make it a law that you couldn't "boo" the other team.

Friday Family Funnies - Kentucky Stereo System

Last week-end we met up with Popeye and Mammy to camp for the week-end. We stayed at a wonderful campground that had family activities at night. One of those activities was a sing-along wagon ride with this stereo system.

Furious Faith

Faith was invited to a Pirate themed birthday party last week and was given the name"Furious Faith"

Don't you just love the "tattoo" Furious Faith the pirate has? It was her reward stamp from school, but it fits perfect in with the outfit.

Last week I spent the week in Kentucky with my Dad and Step-mom (Popeye and Mammy). Daddy had a massive heart-attack on Tuesday the 7th. The Lord showed me many thing and when He puts them all together in my mind I will share them with you. I do praise Him that Daddy is going to be alright, I am very thankful for that.
When I left, I had to leave very quickly and really didn't get to talk to the kids about me leaving. Travis did great and I am so blessed to have him as a husband and helpmate. He did get some help from Aunt Kendra - thank you Aunt Kendra!!!

Popeye got to go home from the hospital on Friday (10th) and when we got settled in I called the kids so they could talk to him. We made the mistake of waiting too late and the kids were getting in the bed. When Samuel answered the phone all I could hear was Faith crying; and I don't mean just crying, she was sobbing and I could hear her say, I just want my Mommy, I just want my Mommy... I tried to talk to her and get her calmed down, but that did not work, so Travis just put her to bed and I moved on to talk with Hannah Grace.

I asked Hannah Grace, What's wrong with Faith? She said, Faith has had enough of Daddy!

Have a great week-end!

Friday Family Funnies - Favorite Chips

Faith has her Valentine's Party at school next week and her teacher ask me to bring "Faith Favorite Kind of Chip". When I got the note I was telling Faith about what she was to bring and asked her what her favorite kind of chip was, her answer: potato.

Here are a few pictures of our funny little Faith - she is LOVING dance class!

Friday Family Funnies - Baby Talk

As I mentioned in our New Year's post our good friends the Groce's are having a baby in August and we are more than excited for them. This will be their fourth - they have a son the same age as Samuel and then twin boys that are Faith's age that are adopted. Well, Faith is overjoyed with the news of a new baby in the Groce Family and she talks about it all the time. One thing she has decided is that she wants the baby to be a girl. Her reasoning on this is: she asks all the time when she can spend the night with the Groce's or when they can spend the night with her. And we explain to her that because they are boys, we really can't do that. Well she has figured it out and told us, "I want Mrs. Gwen to have a girl, so I can go spend the night with them!"

Lots of the baby talk happens in the van and Sunday we were on our way home from lunch and she announces to us that when she gets big she is going to adopt twin babies and she is going to name them LEMON and ADE.
Have a great week-end!

Friday Family Funny - It Was Already Done

Last week we were at Grammy and Big Daddy's house and they had been decorating their house for Christmas. As we were leaving, Faith noticed there was a Santa Clause with a broken leg on the kitchen counter; without missing a beat she lifted her hands in the air as said, "It was already done!"

As you can see the Santa Clause has now been fixed and ready to be returned to Grammy and Big Daddy's house. And by the way, it was already done!

Friday Family Funnies - Synagogue Tree

We decorated our house for Christmas last week-end and on the Christmas Tree that is our bedroom has a collection of Hallmark Candlelight Services Church ornaments, Travis began this set for me the year we were married and has got me one ever year since. We finished decorating the tree after the kids went to bed on Saturday night. When Faith walked into our room Sunday morning she said, "What a beautiful synagogue tree". As we were laughing at her, we asked her why she called them "synagogues" and she told us Jesus went to the synagogue.

I thought I would use this post to show you each of Christmas trees in our house.
Here is the girl's tree in their room - all girl!

Here is our living room tree, it looks a little sad, but hopefully we can get a new one for next year.

And here is my favorite tree in the house. It is decorated with all the homemade ornaments that all three kids have made me.

Have a great week-end!

Friday Family Funny

Last night we all went to Hannah Grace's school for "Family Write Night". We were waiting in the cafeteria and just talking about eating at school, passing the time, Samuel said, "I hope it doesn't get over constipated like in my lunch room." Yes, that what he said! Travis and I couldn't look at each other, because we both were laughing so hard there were tears in our eyes. We think he meant to say "over crowded" but we are not sure...

Friday Family Funnies - not so funny week

As you know Hannah Grace and Faith have both been sick this week, so I don't have a funny to share with you today. But, I will share with you a picture of Hannah Grace and her Daddy as they were heading off to "Breakfast With Dad' this morning. Travis has been driving Papa's truck this week because his car needs brakes and all the kids love to ride in Papa's truck.
Hannah Grace does get her Japanese Buddy today, so we will be taking our new buddy around town this week-end, so check back next week to see what adventures we have.
Have a great week-end!

Friday Family Funnies - Eat More Chicken

There are lots of Family Funny pictures I could show you today, but I think I will stick to these. Travis was asked to be the Chick-Fil-A Cow at work this week and of course, he agreed.
I can't tell you how much I love this man, I mean cow!!!!

We hope you have a great week-end!
I have lots of pictures to catch up on and I will try to do it this week-end, we just have had a crazy, crazy week.

Friday Family Funnies - 7 Things

Missy tagged me to share seven random things about me and I have been thinking hard about it, I'm not sure how random these are, but we will give it a try.

1 - I can't have a clean van and clean house at the same time. If you see my van clean, then don't come to my house, because it's not clean. It goes the other way around too, if you come to my house and it's clean, don't look in my van, something might get you.

2- I have to have a pillow between my knees to sleep.

3- I got my ears pierced for the second time, but took the ear rings out to try out for the cheer leading team and they grew up - I didn't make the team.

4- I have terrible feet. They hurt no matter what shoes I wear.

5- Apparently, my husband thinks my internal thermostat doesn't work after three babies.

6- I hate talking on the radio.

7 - I'm not a very random person.

Friday Family Funnies - Just look for me

Next week is National Fire Prevention Week and Faith had a visit from the Fire Department this week and part of her "homework" was to talk about an escape plan and where we would meet if there was a fire in our home. We have talked about this before, especially after Aunt Cindy's and Uncle Rick's fire. Here's how it went:

Us: Faith, where are we suppose to meet if there is a fire in our house.

Faith: First, I'm going to STOP - DROP - and ROLL and then I will meet you at the tree.

Us: Where?

Faith" The tree.

Us: Faith, if there is fire in the house we are suppose to meet at the mailbox, the tree is too close to the house.

Faith: Well...if there is a fire in the house and I'm not at the mailbox, just look for me at the tree 'cause that's where I'll be.

Have a great week-end - it's GAME WEEK FOUR!

Friday Family Funnies - I Hit It Hard

Faith came into our room and climbed in our bed around 3:30am crying saying she had fallen out of the bed. I hugged her and through her tears she said "I hit it hard!". Thinking she was still half asleep, I asked her what she hit hard, she said "THE FLOOR!!"

This is why we can't have bunk beds yet!

Have a great week-end!

Friday Family Funnies - When will this be over?

Here's what Seth thought of carpool line on the first day of school:
