Sparks Family Adventure, Days 1 and 2

Well, as I said we finally started a blog to keep our family and friends updated on our family. It is a great time to start - we can share with you our great time we had in Kentucky this past week.

We headed out on Monday morning and it wasn't long before Faith had given up. Most of the time, she is great to travel with - this is what she does. The other two don't - they are afraid they are going to miss something.

Monday evening we visited with Nanny Ray and had some wonderful pizza!

On Tuesday, we visited The William Whitley House. I remember visiting here when I was in elementary school. It was neat to be able to now take my kids there. We had a picnic lunch that Mammy had packed for us, played on the playground and toured the house.
Samuel and Mommy

Hannah Grace and Faith had fun digging in the sand
(I remember doing this same time almost twenty years ago)

Daddy had fun too!

After our visit to William Whitley we visited with Granny Hill (I will post those pictures later) and then went to supper with Nannie and Papa Middleton.

Then, after such a busy day we headed back to Mammy and Popeye's and all crashed!

Yay! I'm glad you have a blog! I've already looked at all the pictures two or three times - it makes me miss them and wish all the kids could play in the mud together! I'm glad y'all had fun and got home safely, too. We are slowly getting better after a week of being sick :( Talk to you later - love, Kristi
