I am so excited about Hannah Grace's school and what our family is going to get to take part in. Her school participates in a cultural exchange program with Izumi Chuo Kindergarten in Gifu, Japan. Hannah Grace is going to be paired with a Japanese student who has made a "Home Stay Buddy Mitt". They have asked us to take a buddy and take pictures of things we do in America; where we live, what we like to eat, our friends etc. In November we will send a photo album of all the places and things we did for a few months and then in January they will send us things so we can learn about life in Japan.We are so excited about this project - it sound like fun. They encouraged us, after the school year, to keep in touch with our new friend through mail and e-mails - I hope we can.
So, look for the places we take our Japanese Buddy in the weeks to come.
