Today is my Grandpop Cool's 83rd Birthday. I have been thinking about him a lot this morning; you see my Grandpop has Alzheimers - a terrible disease that takes away memories and so much more. But today my memories have been flooding back...memories of the time I got to spend with them when I was little (about Faith's age) and memories of their house and the love that is felt when I walk inside it...memories and him putting wood on the fire when it was time to eat...memories of his big, strong hugs...so many memories. And although, those memories may have gone from his mind now, I have them and I thank God for them.
