Lazy 5 Ranch

The kids spent the week-end with Memama and Graddaddy this past week-end and they visited the neatest place called Lazy 5 Ranch, they all had a great time!

While at Memama and Granddaddy's the girls had a fun new experience, they slept in the same bed. Memama said they did great and she never heard a peep from them.

While the kids were away Travis and spent a much needed week-end together. Since his travel season has started it is hard for he and I to get time together, so we thank Memama and Granddaddy for the mini-vacation they gave us.

I had a bridal shower to give on Saturday and while I was gone, my wonderful, loving husband cleaned the house. He tackled the biggest job of all - the girls room. Then Saturday afternoon, we spent the afternoon searching for treasures a Goodwill's and looking at puppies - which by the way, we almost came home with. On Saturday evening, we had supper with Ashley and William and then went to Frankie's Fun Park. We road go-carts and hit in the batting cage. Hopefully, I will have a picture to share with you of Ashley in the batting cage with 4-inch high-hills!!!!

So, we all had a great week-end, now it's back to reality...

Have a great week!

Friday Family Funnies - Keys in Heaven

Last week while Travis was gone, the kids and I drove by Nannie and Papa's house to see if the flowers were blooming. I was telling the kids that we were going to drive by and as always, Faith starting asking if we could go in. Here's how the conversation went...

Faith: Please, please, please can we go in?

Me: Remember Faith, Nannie and Papa are in Heaven with Jesus.

Faith: I know, but can we PLEASE go in?

Me: Faith honey, we can't go in, I don't have the keys.

Hannah Grace: Mommy, why did Nannie and Papa take their keys to Heaven?

Have a great week-end!

A Month Away

Samuel's Jamaica trip is less than a month away; it was a month yesterday. I can't believe it and he is getting excited. We received his passport in about two weeks, so that was an answer to prayers. We had a joint service with Christian Faith Assembly this past Sunday - that gave Samuel an idea of the size of the church he will be working at in Jamaica.

On Sunday evenings, we have been doing a study on Spiritual gifts. Samuel took the "test" and two of his highest gifts were Mercy and Evangelism. I praise God that Samuel will be able to use those gifts in Buff Bay, Jamaica.

Please continue to pray for him and the entire team (and us) and they make final preparations.

Love to you all!!!
The picture was taken the day we went to get his passport at the post office. He and his Daddy both thought this mailbox was cool.

A Fun Day With My Sweet Kids

This past week-end, Travis was gone to Knoxville with Upward and I made up my mind that I was not going to just sit around the house with kids and it ending up with all four of us in a bad mood, so I took the kids to pick strawberries and a picnic lunch and to feed the ducks. We all had a great time!!! I hope you enjoy the picure slideshows. You can click on an picture and see it bigger.

Let's Stop and Pray

In respect of all that has gone on this week, there will not be a Friday Family Funny. I ask you to take the time that you would have read and laughed today and stop and pray for the Moms and Dads, Brothers and Sister's, Grandmothers and Grandfathers, Aunt and Uncles and all those that have been affected by this tragedy. And lets not forget to pray for the family of Cho Seung-Hui, they have lost a son also.

History Was Made

I told you in one of my last post that history was made at Emma's 4th Birthday Adventure Easter Egg Hunt Party. Well, it was...

Those who know her, know that Hannah Grace is a very sweet friendly little girl, but you also know that sometimes she can get very quite and not say much and not have much to do with certain people at certain times. Emma's Daddy, Jeff, is one of those people. She just would not have anything to do with him. By the way, Emma, has the same feeling towards Travis. We had joked, if anything happened to Cindy or I on our Disney trip - the girls would be in trouble left with their Daddy's. Anyway, Hannah Grace had been warming up to Jeff - she would at least look at him, then she cracked a smiled - a little more each time we saw him. Well, he won her heart at the birthday party - he took her for a ride on the golf cart. That was it - they are friends for life!!!

After!

Popeye and Mammy came up over the week-end and they helped us put railing on the front porch and paint the house. We had not planned on painting the entire house, but Mammy got started and just kept moving and ended up painting up the whole house.

We had a great visit with them. The front porch looks great and we all love it!

Happy Birthday's

I want to say a few Happy Birthday's that have been over the past couple of weeks...

Happy Birthday, Sha-Sha!

Happy Birthday, Grandmom Cool!

The kids and I had a great time visiting with Grandmom and Grandpop and Aunt Lisa, Casey and Andrea a couple of weeks ago. I hope after the Easter week-end, things will slow down for us and I can share more pictures from our visit.

Happy Birthday, Emma!

Last week-end we all had a great time at an Tinkerbell Adventure Easter Egg Hunt birthday party for Emma. History was made at this party, just wait and see.

Happy Birthday, MacKaylan!

Last Sunday, we celebrated MacKaylan's 2nd Birthday and enjoyed some great fellowship with dear friends. Yep, wait some more.

I'm caught up on my birthday wishes. I can not promise, but I will do my best to catch you up on all the pictures next week.

Have a great Easter week-end. I am taking the week-end off, so there will not be a Friday Family Funny again. See you on Monday!

Happy Resurrection Day!
