Upward Basketball Game Week 7 - First Basket
All season long, Hannah Grace has been trying to make a goal during her basketball ball games and this week she finally did it.
Way to go, Hannah Grace!!!!
Memama and Grandaddy surprised us by showing up for the game.
John Eric and Travis were best friends in high school and kept in touch over the years. Now they are coaching Upward Basketball together and both their kids made their first basket's on Saturday.
Our waitress at The Clock treated Hannah Grace to a milkshake for her basketball goal.

Toothless Hannah Grace
On Friday afternoon, we were on our way to see Aunt Cindy and Hannah Grace was eating a popsicle and she bit down too hard on the stick. At first I didn't know what was going on. I thought she had bit her lip or her tongue. I didn't ever realize that she was bleeding until I told Faith that she could have the rest of the popsicle, since Hannah Grace didn't want it anymore and Faith said - "Mommy it's got blood all over it".
Anyway, once we got to the shop, with the help of Aunt Cindy and Aunt Lois, we got Hannah Grace calmed down and realized that she indeed had a loose tooth. It was already beginning to become loose and when she bit down on the stick a little too hard, it really got it going.
Once we got home, she called her Daddy and told him "I have the greatest news!!!"
She wiggled it all week-end long and by Sunday afternoon it was just about ready to come out. We had given her a washcloth to wiggle it with. She was standing with her Daddy and he told her to pull up real hard - and she did and she pulled her first tooth!!!!!!!!

My Funny Valentine
Hannah Grace had a Valentine Program at school last night. It was wonderful! If you know Hannah Grace, you know that she is our quiet reserved child - but not last night. She was singing and dancing, it was great! School has been so good for her, it gives her something that is just for her. Being the middle child and with her and Faith being so close, she doesn't always get to do something that is just for Hannah Grace. School has been great for her for that.

Faith had gone to the store with me before we picked Hannah Grace up yesterday after to get Hannah Grace a rose for her performance. I love the look on Faith's face - she was so excited and happy for her sister.

Friday Family Funnies - Favorite Chips
Faith has her Valentine's Party at school next week and her teacher ask me to bring "Faith Favorite Kind of Chip". When I got the note I was telling Faith about what she was to bring and asked her what her favorite kind of chip was, her answer: potato.

Upward Basketball Week 4
No, you didn't miss Week 3 - I did. My sweet husband kept the kids while I went to Concord and celebrated my sister's birthday with her and my mom. We had a great night out playing Bunco for Make A Wish!
Hannah Grace is really enjoying basketball and from what her Daddy says, she is doing a great job. She seems to be learning the game and trys her best to dribble and pass the basketball.

Happy February!
January went and February came with all of sick. We think we were the victim of peanut butter. We all are feeling better now and are ready for February.
Hannah Grace continues to enjoy basketball and Faith is loving dance class. Samuel is doing well in school, we are so proud of him and how his has improved his grades. Travis is gearing up for training season and I am trying to keep up with them all.

Just Enough Snow to Play In
We didn't get much snow last night, but we did get enough for school to be out, which is fun! The kids have been our since last Thursday, but I have had to work, so I am enjoying my day at home with them.

We Want Snow!!!!
Yesterday on the way to church we saw a little bit of snow, but by the time Sunday School was over the snow was too. But...we are hoping the weather forcast is correct for tonight and tomorrow.
