First Week of Advent

Things are so busy this month, I can't seem to get the blog caught up, but oh well...maybe before the end of the year.

I look forward to Monday night's in our house during the month of December. Each Monday night during supper we have our Family Advent Time. Travis tell us a story that goes along with one of our boxes. Monday night, he told us about the star showing the shepherds and wise men how to find Jesus and how many, many, many years before Jesus was born prophets were telling people of His coming.

After supper each kids made their Christmas chain. I remember making a chain to count down the days until Christmas each, too. Every morning when the kids get up they tear a change off to count the days until Christmas. The girl's even have a special chain for their birthday.

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet our of you shall come forth to Me the One to be ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth have been from of old, From everlasting.

Micah 5:2
