Friday Family Funnies- "Ya'll got some tape?"

We were having problems with our bathtub in the kids bathroom. The hot water would not turn off. It just kept running and running.. Anyway, Travis tried to fix it, but we ended up call a plumber. The problem ended up being broken stems that broken off inside the wall. As you can see, the plumber had to cut two holes in our wall in the hallway.
When I got home from work I was looking at the "damage" and my little helped, Faith, was beside me. I told her we were going to have to call Mammy and Popeye to come fix the hole in the wall. She wanted to call them right then, so we did. Then she wanted to talk to them. So she did. She got on the phone with Mammy and said, "There's a hole in our wall, ya'll got some tape?" So I guess we didn't need to call for help, all we needed was some tape!
Have a great week-end!

The Wedding

Well, Samuel returned from RA Camp with a bag full of dirty cloths, a sunburn, and lots of stories. We are all glad to have him home.

We all survived the wedding this past week-end; It was a beautiful wedding. Hannah Grace did great! Faith got a little upset a few times, but the photographer and Aunt Cindy were sweet enough to let her gets in a few of the pictures and she was fine. I took a few pictures with my camera, but most of the day I took pictures with Aunt Cindy's camera and I don't have those yet, but here are a few I took...

Have a great week!

Friday Family Funnies- Keep Your Mouth Closed

I don't have anything that the kids said that was funny this week. My "Funny Man" comes homes today!

But, I do have this picture to share with you. A couple of weeks ago when we went swimming, Hannah Grace was drinking a lot of the pool water, so I told her she need to keep her mouth closed. She looked up at me like this:

We have a BIG week-end planned. Travis' cousin, Kerrie, is getting married tomorrow and The Sparks Family is singing and Hannah Grace is in her first wedding as flower girl. I'm sure I will have many pictures to share with you next week.

The best part of the week-end is that Bubba comes home today! We are all so excited. We did get a sweet letter from him yesterday. He said that he was having a great time at camp and they had taken a swimming test that was hard. I wasn't sure if we would get a letter from camp, so I was excited yesterday when I got to the mailbox. The girls have a trip to Chuck E Cheese planned for tomorrow night. Hey Big Daddy, wanna go??? I didn't think so...

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week-end and we will share lots of photos with you next week.

Father and Sons

Travis and his brother, Eric, got their Dad (Big Daddy) tickets to see the Atlanta Braves and the Boston Red Sox for Father's Day. The guys headed out out around lunch time yesterday. They all had a great time. Travis was so excited about getting to spend time with just his Dad and brother; when you get together and there are this many people sometimes it is hard to have a conversation for more than five minutes, so I think they were all glad to have four hours in a car together to talk, plus enjoy the ballgame together.

Happy 10th Birthday Samuel

We can't believe it, but Samuel turned ten years old yesterday. We had a great time at Mel and Glenda's house swimming and visiting with family and friends.
We are so thankful and proud of Samuel. God is molding him into a wonderful, caring, sensitive and strong young man. Happy Birthday Samuel, We Love You!

On The Road Again

Samuel continues his summer tour this morning. He left with nine other boys from the church I work at to spend the week at Camp McCall (Royal Ambassador Camp). He got home yesterday from spending the week-end with Memama and Granddaddy in Kentucky. What a summer he is having!
Please pray for him and the other boys this coming week. Pray that they would have fun, make new friends, and learn more about serving our God.
Birthday pictures are coming...

Friday Family Funnies - Funny Girls

This is a picture that Aunt Cindy took a couple of week-ends ago while the girls were spending the afternoon at her house. She was washing some dresses we had found at a yard sale that morning. Aren't they funny? Look at Hannah Grace, she is about to go to sleep. At least it doesn't take much to entertain them...
Samuel's 10th Birthday is Sunday, so check back on Monday for Birthday pictures.
Have a great week-end!

Water Fun

This past Friday and Saturday we had some great Family Fun. The best part was, Daddy was home. We have missed him so much while he has been traveling over the past months. We raided a neighbor's pool Friday night and then on Saturday afternoon the Keeling's invited us to join them on their boat and head out to the lake for the afternoon. Samuel of course loves the water. Once Hannah Grace got in the water, we couldn't get her out. Faith on the other hand was scared and we had to force her in the water. She was not afraid last year, so we are not sure what caused her to be sacred, but hopefully she will get over that fear soon.

Faith was happy as long as she was on the steps...

After God blessed us with a wonderful week-end, he then gave us a beautiful sunset.
