Another Photo Contest

I am entering another photo contest. So soon till Christmas, I am trying all that I can. If you look close, the marshmallow is still on fire - yikes!

5 Minutes for Mom is having another photo contest. This time they are asking us to share a picture of our Sleeping Angel to win a new bedroom set. If we won, I would choose Lilly Rose because of the storage space under the bed. This would be great for Hannah Grace. Right now, her shoes and other things are in the closet hallway.

So here's my entry:

Remember, this was at Aunt Cindy's house and she had just played so hard, she gave out while watching her "treasures" from the yard sale dry.

Oh, well we'll see what happens...

Taste and See

January 2011

For the next year, I hope to post a recipe at least once a week. It may be a old family recipe or a new one I found or something I have made up. I hope that the kids will join me in the kitchen on some days. Then, at the end of the year, I want to print them out and it will be a wonderful "cookbook" to give my kids.

I just finished reading Choosing to SEE by Mary Beth Chapman and in her book she tells of "seeing" God and His work all around us, no matter the situation. So, in thinking about the blog, Psalm 34:8 came to mind, Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. So, I hope that in the coming year, as I am in the kitchen doing what I love for my family - COOKING - I can SEE that He is good and take refuge in Him. And then share that happiness on here and then pass it along to my kids one day.

I hope you enjoy the year to come and I pray that you will SEE Him each day.
