Fun With Mac

Our friends Mickey and Lana have a sweet little girl, MacKaylan and a couple of weeks ago she came to spend the night with the girls when her Mommy was having back trouble.

First on the agenda was a tea party planned by Hannah Grace and Faith. They told me exactly what they wanted to eat, cookies, strawberries and sprite; they also wanted Bubba to be their waiter, but he was not quite up to that idea, so Mommy had to be their waitress.

The girls had been waiting for a special time to use their tea set that Aunt Kendra had made for them at Christmas, this was the perfect time.

After the tea party, next on the agenda was popcorn and a movie.

...then to bed. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in that room.

While looking for the pictures for this post I came across these pictures from when Mac and her Mommy and Daddy had come over for supper. Those girl's love to play dress-up!

Warm Quilts

During the snow, we lost power around 8:30 on Sunday evening (and didn't get it back until Tuesday around lunch). Because it was around bedtime we just piled extra blankets on all the beds and all just hit the sack early. On each of the girl's bed's their top layer of blankets was a quilt that Nannie had made. As I was tucking the girl's in I told them how thankful I was for the quilts Nannie had made to keep us warm.
This was Hannah Grace's prayer, ...Thank you Jesus for the beautiful snow and thank you for my Nannie and her being a good sewer and for the quilts she made to keep us warm.

Last Basketball Game

Hannah Grace had her last basketball game of the season this past Saturday. She had so much fun and is such a "team player". We asked her if she liked soccer or basketball better, thinking she would say soccer because she scored and scored in soccer, but she said she liked basketball better because she liked to pass the ball.On Saturday afternoon we went to USC-Upstate for another basketball game with the Tate's and Groce's

Now it's T-ball time...
